As a customer of @HOME, you are in complete control of your purchacing orders. This includes controlling the use of information you provide to @HOME. The bottom line is that we respect and will continue to respect the privacy of our customers who use @HOME.
 

Because protecting your privacy is important to us, @HOME is a licensee of the TRUSTe's Privacy Program. When you see the TRUSTe seal, you can be assured that @HOME, as all TRUSTe licensees disclose the following:

Member Registration
When you become a @HOME customer you provide your name, address, telephone number, email address, a unique login name, password, and password validation. This information is collected on the registration form for several reasons including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to allow us to contact you for customer service, if necessary; (iii) to customize the content of our site to meet your specific needs; and (iv) to make product improvements to @HOME. In addition, your email address is collected to send you an email message confirming your purchase transacted online. 

Online Surveys
@HOME values opinions and comments from customs, so we frequently conduct online surveys. These surveys are entirely optional for all customs. Typically, the information is aggregated and used to make improvements to @HOME and to develop appealing content, features and promotions for customers. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey.

Please be aware that we have links on our site which may collect personally identifiable information about you. This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices or policies of such Web sites.

Who will the information be shared with, if anyone?
When you purchase product through @HOME, we not sell individual customer names or other private profile information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. Occasionally, @HOME will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as market research surveys and contest entry processing and will provide information to these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement and is to be used solely for completing the specific project. See "What other information should I know about my privacy?" below.

What safeguards are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?
All information you provide to @HOME is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. In addition, when you make purchases from @HOME, you are protected by @HOME's Shop Safe Guarantee.

What other information should I know about my privacy?
@HOME contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering another Web site for which @HOME has no responsibility. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of all such sites as their policies may be materially different from @HOME's Privacy Statement. Of course, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information. Please be very careful, responsible, and alert with this information, especially whenever you're online. 

In addition to the circumstances described above, @HOME may disclose customer information if required to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of @HOME or when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.

Any material changes in the way @HOME uses personal information will be described in future versions of this Privacy Statement.
